Inauguration of New Board of Directors for Uganda Bureau Of Statistics

The new UBOS Board of Directors was inaugurated yesterday by our line minister and State minister of Finance (Planning), Hon. Amos Lugoloobi who urged the new Board to forge strategic partnerships, embrace digital revolution, support Gov’t monitoring & evaluation, and embrace corporate governance. The Oaths of allegiance to service were administered by the Principal Judge, Dr. Flavian Zeija

The Board Members are:

1) Dr. Albert Byamugisha – Board Chairperson

2) Dr. Chris Ndatira Mukiza, The Executive Director, Uganda Bureau of Statistics (Board Member)

3) Ms. Irene Birungi – Board Member

4) Ms. Roseette Nakavuma – Board Member

5) Dr. Jacob Opolot – Board Member

6) Dr. Allen Kabagenyi – Board Member

7) Dr. Rogers Matte – Board Member

8) Ms. Pamela N.Kansiime – Board Secretary
