The index of Distributive Trade is a short term indicator which measures changes in the volume of goods sold by the Trade Sector. it is a volume index that is compiled on quarterly basis. The index covers three broad groups:
– wholesale and Retail trade and repair of Motor vehicles and motor cycles:
– wholesale trade, except or motor vehicles and motor cycles and
– retail trade except of motor vehicles and motor cycles.
